The waterproofing requirements for Ponds and Swimming Pools are quite different to bathrooms and balconies. Firstly they must be able to withstand continuos UV exposure, must remain flexible, and for swimming pools must be able to withstand total immersion in water with chemicals, and in ponds mustn’t kill fish, plants and must be totally safe for the environment. Finally they must be able to be tiled over and must be durable.
